Best Flow/Delivery
2016-2017
SCRIPTZ AKA JAY KERI
Scriptz, who recently changed his name to Jay Keri, has become one of the most consistent forces behind a microphone at The Write Reviews. His Transition EP nearly won him this award last year, and put him among the nominees in several categories. The Fraternity member may not have walked away with the award last year, but he definitely left an impression.
This year Scriptz wouldn’t be stopped from pinning his name to an award, one way or the other. Lost In Translation, his latest release, nearly racked up a classic status rating in the track by track breakdown posted on this website. This pushed Scriptz into nominations for Best Male Artist and Best Album, among others. The smooth and deliberate delivery brought by Scriptz during the course of Lost In Translation is assisted by well written multiple syllable rhyme schemes and his ability to stuff emotion into his deep-voiced flow. Adding great content, beautiful beats, and some fantastic features gives you an album you will keep in your rotation for quite some time.
Lost In Translation is that album.
