K.O.

It was much harder to determine the winner of the Biggest Bust award this year than it was last year. There weren’t any emcees who handled their reviews in a negative manner. If they didn’t like the results from their review, they kept it to themselves or they applied what was said in the review to their music in a positive manner. With all of the artists handling our reviews of their music in respectable fashion, determining the Biggest Bust would boil down to one thing: who had the most disappointing album.

Several factors made it easy for me to decide on the most disappointing album: anticipation of the album followed by not meeting expectations, poor rhyme schemes, little use of the different elements in writing, horrible delivery, and a bad selection of instrumentals. While K.O. and his album A New Destiny may not have fit everything I just mentioned, there was enough of the above to separate A New Destiny from the rest of the pack.

You can read the review of A New Destiny and listen to the album (the link is in the review) to see what factors weighed on on the winner of the Biggest Bust of the Year award.
